In today’s news its almost impossible to escape the mentioning of the current war in Iraq. As thousands of troops continue to fight oversees, several enlisted military members can visit AchieveYourCareer.com and find a new addition to their lists of schools, Norwich University, which targets military personnel by offering the ability to earn a masters degree online.
Norwich has a history deep in tradition and actually is one of the first colleges established in the United States. Its online degree programs allow for the potential student to enroll in a variety of concentrations to help reach their career goals.Â
Students can study traditional college concentrations such as business administration, criminal justice, and engineering, but what makes Norwich University Online stand out is its dedication to providing a Masters of Arts in Military History for interested military members who may wish to further their careers within the United States Military Forces. While many schools focus on military students as a valued edition to their student body, Norwich University Online is the only online school that has created a cirriculum centered around the armed forces.
By adding Norwich University Online,  Achieveyourcareer.com again proves itself as a leading online degree source for students to research, explore, and learn in their search for accessible higher education.

I am an employee in their mid 20’s. I graduated from a traditional college in 2004 and have been involved in the workforce ever since. I work and live in a major city so rent is expensive and transportation is completely reliant on a subway or bus. I work 9 hours a day, commute an hour both ways, and like to exercise regularly. Out of my 16 hour days, I don’t have much time for, well, anything.Â
One of my goals is to earn a Masters or MBA to further my career. It is an ambitious goal and one that is shared with many of America’s workforce, however, due to the inablity to get to a class or the financial stability to quit my job, it just isn’t feasable.  Over the past 6 months or so, I have slowly started to research tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and night school. While looking for this information, I found an article referencing the Northeastern Online MBA program. As I read, I found that not only did the Northeastern MBA program allow me to study completely online, it would allow me to earn an online degree that was flexible to my current schedule and lifestyle.Â
Not content with just learning about the Northeastern Online MBA program, I started to look for more schools that offered an online masters degree or an online MBA degree program, to my surprise I found over 50 universities and colleges offering a variety of online programs, including Harvard University!
I have yet to fill out online applications or actually speak to a representative about the opportunity, but its clear to me that earning an online masters degree could be the key to increasing my income and job security.

True story: I just graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree. I graduate from a traditional university where I studied in a traditional way, which is to say in classrooms, face to face with professors and peers. I had a great experience, and now I have to head into the frightening world of 9-5 work just like most people have to. Because of the price of conventional degrees at conventional institutions, many people like me leave school with loans piled up on our backs and so we’re required to work right away to start paying them off. This requirement means that it’s harder to pursue graduate school studies, which I’d like to do. But I think I’ve found an answer, and it’s what a lot of people, young and old, are starting to do nowadays: online education.
The great thing about online education is that it’s flexible. It allows one to pursue academics while still holding on to a steady job. Sure, a schedule filled with full-time work and classes is going to be hectic, but it’s entirely manageable–much more manageable than pursuing full-time studies and full-time work simultaneously. Distance education, online education, e-studies–whatever you want to call it, it’s changing the face of academia. As I look toward graduate studies, I know that I can dedicate part of my time to school, some more of my time to work, and the rest of my time to the rest of my life. That way I can continue making money, paying off loans, earning enough for living expenses all at the same time, even if that sounds unbelievable.
Another thing about online education is that it’s simply less expensive. There’s no need for the institution to rent out space, materials are all on the Internet rather than in expensive textbooks, and there’s no need to commute, because it can be done from home (or wherever there’s access to a computer and the Internet).
The fact is that online education makes graduate studies possible for people like me. Online studies are changing the face of academic institutions, and there’s plenty of reason to be excited about it.
