One day while in the Dollar Store I overheard an elderly couple talking about buying their groceries in the Dollar Store because that was all they could afford. It really upset me. I have worked for close to 25 years in Catholic education and my pension is very little. I came home that day and told my husband that I was going back to school to get my Masters Degree so I could get a new job. I thought if I worked even ten years in a place with a good pension plan, I would be able to have a decent retirement. I was 51 years of age at that time. I did not want to have a set schedule of classes so I began checking out websites for online education.
