Applied study and capstone courses are essential components of online programs. Working with their faculty member, students develop a project plan in a curricular area of particular interest that incorporates research and theoretical review as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis. To ensure effective delivery of course materials, and to facilitate participation from all class members, faculty teaching online complete specialized instruction to prepare them to teach via this medium. As a result, students are provided with a comprehensive learning experience that enables them to master course content.
Online courses are structured using a linear, integrated approach, starting with general education classes to build a sound foundation within the degree program.
