WHAT OPPORTUNITIES DOES DISTANCE LEARNING GIVE ADULTS
Basically...
Distance learning allows adults to get their degree without having to change their life around to much. Adults have 3 choices when it comes to getting their degree. They can either take night or weekend classes, take a hiatus from work and go to school full time, or enroll in a distance learning program.

Some Opportunities are:
1. Night or weekend classes are convenient, but there are also some bad sides to them.
If you’re taking night classes, you might have to leave work early. You’ll also most likely be in class for 3 hours and not get home until late at night. If you have kids, this might be a problem. If you take weekend classes, you might take longer to get your degree. Weekend classes are scarce and the time slots are long. If you can concentrate on one thing for 4 hours, then weekend classes might be for you.
2. Going to school full time means that you can get your degree quicker, but you have to be financially prepared to do it.
Not everyone can afford to stop working for 2 or 3 years. This might be impossible if you have children or a home to pay for. Unless your spouse can support you and your family, this might not be a good idea. You could save money for the time you will be in school, but you never know what might come up. You could also apply for loans or scholarships.
3. Distance Learning programs are the perfect choice for that busy, ambitious professional.
You don’t have to leave early from work. You don’t even have to quit your job or even switch to part time. You basically control your own educational life. Distance learning degree programs give you freedom. You can come out to the top by having a degree and having the work experience.
